3. Application
Used as a fixing agent in photographic industry. For electroplating, water purification and tanning leather, also used as a reducing agent of the chemical industry, cotton antichlor after bleaching, dyeing wool fabrics sulfur dye, indigo dye agent of anti-white, paper pulp antichlor, pharmaceutical industry used as a detergent, disinfectant and bleaching agent.

性状：硫代硫酸钠又名大苏打海波，为无色透明单斜晶系晶体，无臭、味咸。比重1：729。加熟到100摄氏度，失去5个结晶水，易溶于水，不溶于醇，在酸性溶液中分解，具有强烈的还原性。在33摄氏度以上的干燥空气中易风化，在潮湿的空气有中潮解性。
用途：用作照相行业定影剂、电镀、净化饮水、鞋制皮革化工行业还原剂等。
包装：用内祔聚氯乙烯塑料袋的麻袋、塑料编织袋包装。
储存：储存在干燥、阴凉处、库房中、运输中避免暴晒或雨淋。
